about us

Progressive Martial Arts was established in Grand Forks, ND in 1995. Currently owned and operated by father and son, Ken and Josh Greer, who have a combined 40 years of martial arts experience. They are dedicated to sharing their passion for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and mixed martial arts with the Grand Forks, East Grand Forks community, and beyond.

PMA has proudly partnered with local law enforcement agencies providing training aimed at improving their control and self-defense tactics. This helps enhance officers’ skills for their jobs and every day lives. We understand the critical role that they have in our community and we are committed to continuing this partnership and working closely to provide the best support and training opportunities.

At Progressive Martial Arts, we welcome students of all skill levels, professions, and ages. Our students come from all walks of life, and we are diligent about keeping them safe during training so that they can return to their daily lives without any issues.
